Supporting your community

It’s generally accepted that the NHS is struggling to cope with demand, and private healthcare providers have increasingly been called upon to assist with long waiting lists for routine operations. In the year 2022-2023, £3.12 billion was spent by NHS Trusts on contracting out selected services to private providers.1
Private healthcare has a deserved reputation for delivering care quickly, at primary and secondary care levels. In addition, as more and more companies offer private health insurance as a standard employee benefit, many people who were previously unable to access such care are now in a position to by-pass long wait times and see an appropriate healthcare professional at an earlier stage of disease or injury progression. Early diagnosis, easy access to relevant tests and imaging and prompt treatment all promote better outcomes in multiple disease areas – particularly oncology, but also other prominent health conditions such as heart disease.2,3

Don't just take our word for it:

This year, more than ever before, we listened to the voices of our patients and carers. We have advanced our use of our online iWantGreatCare feedback tool and have over 119,000 reviews of our services which we then used to make improvements to our care and learn from where we have done well.
