iWGC is supporting Purple Day - find out how you can help
Turning purple in support of Epilepsy
iWantGreatCare is turning purple in order to raise awareness for World Epilepsy Day. March 26th marks Purple Day, a campaign started in 2008 by a young Canadian girl affected by epilepsy who wanted to spread awareness of the condition; dispel myths about it; and assure those with seizures they are not alone.
iWGC wants to help further these aims by encouraging reviews of the medications commonly used to treat epilepsy on the iWGC website. For each review of epilepsy medication published on the iWGC website between March 20th and April 7th, iWGC will donate 10p to Epilepsy Society*. Not only will this raise valuable funds for research and support for those with epilepsy, it will also help build information resources that are available to them.
iWGC offers trusted, independent information to help others find great care. Thousands of patients search the website every day to help them make better choices about their treatments and medicines. You can help the next epilepsy patient by leaving a review so they can have more control over their treatment.
All reviews left on the site are confidential but please share the link to this page on Twitter to get as many people involved and spreading the word as possible.
